About You

We're seeking a strategic and empathetic User Experience Designer to join our product team and champion user-centered design throughout our organization. You’ll be joining a mission driven organization building technology that will empower home healthcare organizations. This role goes beyond traditional screen-level design; you'll be a strategic partner who connects user insights to business objectives, leveraging both human intuition and AI-powered tools to create exceptional digital experiences. The ideal candidate is a curious problem-solver who thrives in collaborative environments and can balance analytical thinking with creative innovation.

As our User Experience Designer, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to transform complex user problems into elegant, accessible cross-platform (web, mobile) solutions. You'll be responsible for the complete user experience lifecycle, from research and strategy through design execution and post-launch optimization. We're looking for someone who can think strategically about long-term user journeys while executing tactically on immediate design challenges.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop strategic design solutions by translating business requirements and user insights into wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that solve real user problems

  • Create and maintain design systems ensuring consistency across products while documenting patterns, components, and guidelines for scalable design implementation

  • Facilitate collaborative design processes by leading design workshops, stakeholder reviews, and cross-functional brainstorming sessions to align teams around user-centered solutions

  • Leverage AI and automation tools strategically to enhance design workflows while maintaining focus on human-centered design principles and critical decision-making

  • Measure and optimize user experiences through A/B testing, analytics analysis, and iterative design improvements based on user feedback and performance data

  • Present design decisions to stakeholders at all levels, effectively communicating design rationale with clear connections to user needs and business impact

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and quality implementation while maintaining design integrity throughout development

  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously learning and applying new methodologies to improve design practices and outcomes

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional UX design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design process, interaction design, user research, and measurable business impact

  • Advanced proficiency in industry-standard tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools, with demonstrated ability to create high-fidelity interactive prototypes

  • Proven user research expertise with hands-on experience conducting interviews, usability tests, surveys, and translating insights into actionable design recommendations

  • Strong foundation in design principles including information architecture, interaction design, visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, and responsive/mobile-first design

  • Cross-functional collaboration skills with demonstrated success working with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver complex projects on time

  • Strategic thinking abilities to connect design decisions to business objectives and articulate the value of user experience to non-design stakeholders

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Nice to Haves

  • AI tool integration experience leveraging tools like Figma AI, Adobe Firefly, or similar platforms to enhance design workflows while maintaining design quality and human oversight

  • Advanced analytics and data analysis skills including experience with tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar platforms to measure user behavior and design performance

  • Leadership and mentorship experience including managing design projects, mentoring junior designers, or leading design system initiatives across multiple product teams

  • Technical understanding with basic knowledge of HTML/CSS, development constraints, and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams on implementation details
