The Role

We’re looking for a mid-to-senior level Product Designer to join our small, fast-moving team. You’ll work end-to-end, from early product discovery to high-fidelity designs, shaping how founders experience Metal across web and mobile. Your work will directly impact the way thousands of founders find investors, track outreach, and close their rounds.

You’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and distribution teams to design elegant solutions for complex problems, making our tools delightful and accessible without sacrificing power.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design process for new product features, from concept to delivery.

• Translate user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into intuitive interfaces and workflows.

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs in Figma.

• Partner with engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation and a seamless user experience.

• Contribute to and evolve our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability.

• Conduct usability testing, gather feedback, and iterate quickly.

• Advocate for user-centered design and accessibility best practices.
  

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 4–8 years in product design, ideally in SaaS, B2B, or productivity tools.

• Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing product thinking, interaction design, and visual craft.

• Skills:

  • Proficiency in Figma and design systems.

  • Ability to design for complex, data-rich interfaces.

  • Understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.

  • Strong UX research skills, from interviewing users to synthesizing insights.

• Mindset:

  • You think in systems, but sweat the details.

  • You love solving messy problems and can simplify complexity without dumbing it down.

  • You’re comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in startup environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing for marketplaces, search interfaces, or CRMs.

• Familiarity with data visualization and analytics UX.

• Motion design skills for micro-interactions and onboarding flows.

• Experience working closely with early-stage founders or investor tools.
