KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design end-to-end user experiences for iOS and Android platforms, mobile platforms, and adjacent digital point of contact - from user flows and wireframes to pixel-perfect UIs.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and hardware teams to translate product requirements into compelling UX solutions for all BT-connected devices in the portfolio.
- Create engaging interfaces to support sound superiority positioning, and user journey from beginner to expert (EQ, ANC, hearing tests, user profiles).
- Design intuitive onboarding flows for BT products, connectivity, and firmware upgrade processes.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to validate design decisions.
- Produce interactive prototypes (Figma, Protopie, etc.) and maintain design systems for consistency across platforms.
- Support developers with detailed specifications and assist during the QA process to ensure design fidelity.
- Identify the right external partner to support on UX/UI design and absorb the increased work scope with new upcoming launches.
- Manage the design toolchain by administering internal and external access and licenses for agencies, developers, stakeholders, and designers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Over 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in consumer electronics or app-hardware ecosystems.
- Strong portfolio showcasing mobile app design for iOS/Android (hardware-integrated apps a big plus).
- Solid understanding of Bluetooth connectivity processes, user permissions, device pairing, and related flows.
- Experience designing for real-time feedback, firmware updates, or dynamic device states.
- Familiarity with audio-related interfaces (EQ sliders, presets, profile management) is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design tools.
- Knowledge of mobile design guidelines (Apple HIG, Material Design).
- Experience working with agile teams and collaborating with developers and product managers.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams, thrive in an agile environment, view uncertainty as an opportunity, and pursue continuous improvement.
- Skilled at engaging and enabling stakeholders across functions, driving an effective pace to ensure project delivery on time and within budget.
- Expert in product management and development, comfortable with project management, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English. German and other languages are a plus.
