Position Overview:


Swift Shift helps deliver more home healthcare hours to more people. We partner with home healthcare providers who want to leverage our technology to modernize their home healthcare operations and deliver better care to more people.

Our mission is to improve the lives of homecare Nurses and Caregivers by helping them to have a predictable schedule, maximizing their patient facing time and minimizing travel and administrative burdens, helping them earn more and get paid faster.

Since we launched our service in late 2016 we’ve grown fast and partnered with the largest homecare providers in the U.S. As we continue to grow our business we are looking to hire a Director of HR & Operations.

Our offices are in the Flatiron are in Manhattan.


About you:

  • Your passion is to change the world through better UX, finding ways to design a simple, intuitive and enjoyable experience that helps users get value from our application with minimal effort and maximum joy.
  • You thrive in a startup environment where ideas get tested quickly on paper and clickable prototypes, you enjoy working with product, engineering, clients and users to iterate on UX solutions and deliver to engineering a clickable prototype that is de-risked and well thought through.
  • You have great intuition, yet you also know where you have biases and where data and feedback is critical, you're data driven and goal oriented minimizing the cost of experimentation.
  • You're immersed in the latest design and UX best practices and you are eager to continue and develop, continuously thinking how to deliver better UX at higher speed with less effort.


Responsibilities

  • Create design and UX language for Swift Shift's platform (mobile apps, desktop apps)
  • Own experimentations and carry through the experiments from concept to implementation
  • Responsible for delivery of research based actionable insights
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research studies
  • Draft screens and advise customers on participant recruiting
  • Create workflows, processes, wireframes and prototypes.

Requirements

Ideal Experience:

  • +2 years of experience in UX research or related field
  • Educational background in UX Research, HCI, Human factors or social science research-related field. Or equivalent work experience.
  • Good understanding of different user research methodologies both qualitative and quantitative.
  • Wireframing skills.
  • Experience conducting user testing, online survey design and light data analysis.
  • An excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills.
