User Experience Researcher

Responsibilities
o Conduct independent research on multiple aspects of products and experiences
o Collect and analyze user behavior through usability studies, field visits, surveys, and telemetry
o Work collaboratively with designers, product managers, and engineers to prioritize research opportunities
o Understand and incorporate complex requirements into research
o Advocate research findings through written reports and presentations
o Work closely with product, ux, and business teams to identify research
o Generate insights that encourage ideation and evaluate designs
o Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways
o Work openly and collaboratively with other user experience team members and cross functional groups

Required Skills/Experience
o 3+ years of relevant work experience
o BA/BS degree in Human Factors, Psychology, HCI/Computer Science, a related field or equivalent practical experience
o Experience conducting semi-structured interviews, contextual field visits, and usability studies
o Experience integrating user research into product designs
o Experience in survey design
o Strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them
o Experience conducting research on security products in enterprise environments
o Effective interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
o Experience in qualitative and quantitative research, with an appreciation for applying lean and agile methodologies to process
o Experience with design thinking methodology and activities
