Atlassian has an opportunity for a Product Designer to join our Data Center (Enterprise Edition) team in Sydney. Data Center is one of the fastest-growing areas of our business serving our largest and most complex Enterprise customers around the globe.

As a designer, you will help us with strategic design projects which focus more on using design as a tool to explore problem spaces, conceptual ideas and to work with a multi-disciplinary team members in fleshing these design outcomes further.

You'll have the opportunity to work closely with design researchers and other designers in the team as well as product managers and engineering (development) team members to ensure that we optimise for the best customer experience.

To be successful in this role, we'd expect you to have:

    • Professional UX / product design experience, ideally with exposure to designing complex, enterprise-level software. 
    • Experience in discovery/strategic design work and can speak to the approach you have taken over both of the double diamonds.
    • Proven experience conducting customer research, as well as utilising critical skills like design thinking, prototyping, and conceptual modeling.
    • You are comfortable defining projects and measures of success, testing your assumptions and outcomes, and continuously incorporating feedback from customers and from stakeholders.
    • You enjoy collaborating closely with other designers, developers, and other team members.
