UX/UI Designer

MMI is looking to add a UX/UI Designer to our Creative team. The ideal candidate for this position is able to collaborate with a team as well as work independently to provide ideas and solutions on a wide range of projects for multiple consumer packaged goods brands.

Responsibilities:

    • Interpret creative briefs and take initiative to ask clarifying questions if needed 
    • Manage multiple digital projects from concept to completion
    • Design for interactive elements and interface components along with full 
    • web-based projects for desktop and mobile
    • Illustrate design ideas with user flow and experience in mind
    • Evaluate existing digital properties for user experience effectiveness
    • Communicate end-to-end experiences, interactions and screen designs with 
    • team members and clients
    • Analyze user activity and iterate to enhance the user experience
    • Incorporate web analytic insights and KPI’s throughout design work
    • Apply brand identity systems appropriately to create innovative visual solutions that meet business and user needs
    • Foster an encouraged learning environment for all things creative, social, digital and mobile in order to stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies and techniques

Requirements:

    • Minimum of six years as a creative professional – preferably working with or for 
    • an agency   
    • Understanding of UI/UX principles
    • Understanding and familiarity working with accessibility standards (WCAG)
    • Some experience in front-end development even if minor (HTML, CSS)
    • Experience in UX best practices as it relates to the eCommerce space 
    • Ability to work under tight deadlines on multiple projects
    • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational and time management skills
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
    • Solid proficiency in Adobe CC (including Premiere and After Effects), Sketch and InVision
