Senior Product Designer

We are hiring a Senior Product Designer to help shape the future of our product. At Nosto we appreciate great design and user experience and designers serve a critical role in our product team. Our designers work as part of the Product organization, closely collaborating with product managers and developers in a cross-functional manner. What you will be doing:

• Work in a cross-functional manner with product managers, the engineering team members and other stakeholders
• Contribute to the overall design direction of the product
• Craft flows, sketches, high-fidelity visuals and prototypes for components and features
• Collaborate closely with Product Management to develop the strategy and rationale for features
• Work very closely with developers to ensure a high-quality implementation and user experience
• Collaborate with other designers to maintain consistency and coherence across the product
• Actively gather feedback from your peers, both within and outside of your team
• Drive the direction of our internal design system
• Evangelize the Nosto design team and participate in the recruitment of new designers

What we expect:

• Over five years of experience designing interactive applications
• Excellent visual, UI and interaction design skills
• Ability to iterate rapidly on designs while gathering feedback from a variety of sources
• Familiar with prototyping and user testing as a means to explore and ideate design solutions (we use Figma)
• Ability to come up with features and improvements that ship quickly and with high quality
• Experience on working with design systems

What we appreciate:

• Experience in working on SaaS products or B2B software applications
• Understanding of e-commerce
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Hands-on front-end development skills (command-line tools, Vue)
