foodpanda (small ‘f’) is the world’s favourite way to order food online from the comfort of your home or office. Whether it’s getting your hands on your favourite pasta, kebab or pizza, we believe that no one should have to suffer from hunger attacks ever again.

 However, this doesn’t happen without some really awesome people. We are looking for a Product Designer interested in joining the Product team to design our next generation of web applications. You will be based in our exciting Singapore office to support our growing regional Product team. You will also be part of an international team of highly talented and motivated people.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to be a user advocate and design products that are intuitive and easy to learn. The solution is focused on our contact Agents. You will spend your day interacting with our contact centre agents and collaborating with Product and Engineering to tackle a wide range of challenges across our products.

 

• Execute and lead across all phases of the design process: research, conceptual design, prototyping, validating, production ready designs, usability testing and implementation
• Bring narrative of user/customer needs to an interdisciplinary team
• Incorporate data analysis and feedback through experimentation (A/B) testing to validation of concepts and experience paradigms
• Manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Contribute to the creation of an outstanding experiences, incorporating best practices in UX and creating solid, engaging UX and UI patterns
• Support and contribute to Global UX Patterns and Toolkits
• Inspire, push creativity, challenge established thinking, and identify industry best practices for user experience within your squad and across the organization
• Collaborate with multiple professionals in your cross-functional team (squad) to reach your common goal of improving the product and user experience daily
• Collaborate with and actively contribute to the Design chapter
• Ensure that the quality of implementation of product meets design requirements
• Support design chapter projects to bring user experience or processes inside the team to the next level

Required Experience:

• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in product design and UX research in e-commerce or hyperlocal industry
• At a minimum BA in UX-related field (human-computer interaction, human factors, behavioral research, graphic design or psychology, sociology or anything related to cognition, perception and user behaviour) or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrate clear excellence in either UX or UI, and solid skills and foundation in both
• 5+ years (for senior position), of experience in product/interaction design in a consumer-focused, high performance organization
• Extensive experience in designing and shipping for Android and iOS apps, and working with cross-platform requirements
• Portfolio demonstrating a user-centered design approach, problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Operational experience in prioritization and time-management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in scrum teams and comfort working within tech teams
• Experience working with Sketch, inVision, Adobe, prototyping tools is a must
• Self-driven personality with proactive attitude and ability to maintain a structured working style in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Fluency in English required
• Enthusiastic team player who empowers team members and motivates them
• A digital portfolio that demonstrates conceptual thinking, dynamic user experiences, a data-driven mindset and a knack for designing web apps
• Deep expertise in visual and system design
• Experience creating wireframes, user flows, sitemaps
• Ability to perform user research including moderated and un-moderated usability testing
• Consideration for long-term sustainability in all design decisions, with a focus on engineering feasibility and business impact
• Experience working with Sketch, prototyping and design tools such as InVision and Photoshop required
