We’re looking for an experienced UX writer to shape the customer experience for payments and ‘Ask a tutor’ areas of the Preply product. 

As a UX Writer you will:

  • Write intuitive, delightful microcopy for product experiences and interaction flows 
  • Bring the product to life with words that speak to customers in Preply’s voice and style
  • Collaborate with designers, researchers, product owners and engineers to create product experiments that improve business metrics
  • Optimize microcopy through AB testing 
  • Participate in research to evaluate microcopy usability and customer preferences
  • Collaborate with the copy team to further develop product messaging and tone of voice 
  • Deepen your understanding of the intersection of UX writing and design, and have your finger on the pulse of emerging trends in digital products
  • Help users reach their goals of learning or teaching a language effectively

What we are looking for:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in UX writing 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 
  • Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to balance logic and creative flair; autonomy and collaboration
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience writing for diverse audiences of non-native English speakers
  • Growth mindset, curiosity and willingness to continuously learn
