{ What you're going to do:

You are the user's advocate and love to establish user experience strategies based on technical requirements, user-insights and definitions. You like creating applications used by hundreds of DKB employees per day. You know how to balance conceptual work and visual designs. Sounds familiar, right? You're ready to educate a conservative industry about the USP of a well-crafted look, feel, and usability.

Your overall goal: forge a classical bank into a tech bank through collaboration by supporting your team with the digitalization of the credit process.

Get rid of the silo mentality. Forget about waterfall and support people working the agile way. That means you need to foster a spirit of constant learning and improvement. Creating best-in-class experiences in a conservative business might sound like moving mountains. It actually is. But who's looking for small challenges?

{ Your Responsibilities:

  • You prepare and execute a wide range of UX activities working within scrum teams.
  • You accompany user requirements during the agile implementation of the UI.
  • You plan and facilitate user and stakeholder workshops.
  • You elaborate and present user insights, problem definitions, personas and user journey maps.
  • You create purposeful visual user interface designs and low / high fidelity prototypes for applications with similar complexity to Salesforce in a consistent dialogue with our corporate strategy.
  • You accompany users through usability tests in our research lab.
  • You work out UI specifications based on Salesforce Lightning Design System and help us to maintain our own design system by creating UI libraries and components (Atomic Design).
  • You work in an inspiring and committed way in an interdisciplinary team with other UX Designers, Product Owners, Banking Experts, Developers and parallel teams of the project.

{ What you bring to the table:

  • You're keen to deep-dive and understand complex internal banking processes for business customers and digitize them.
  • You know how to create rough concepts, user flows and finally user interface designs.
  • You're familiar with current UX trends, modular design systems and UI libraries.
  • You're safe in dealing with the common tools for conception, design and prototyping (we're using Figma, experience in Sketch or Adobe XD is also fine).
  • You have an agile mindset and experience in agile ways of working, design thinking methods and tools like Confluence and Jira.
  • You have a passion for user interfaces with high usability and outstanding user experiences.
  • You work in a structured, independent and result-oriented way.
  • You're fluent in German (C2) and English (B2).
  • You're passionate about your work, but also know how to enjoy your free time!
