UX Researcher (Part-Time)

Our purpose is to provide every reliable CEO with equal access to business opportunities. How? By enabling CEOs to meet reliable counterparts. Opportunity Network is the peer-to-peer network for CEOs to do deals (for commercial, fundraising, investment and M&A).

As Opportunity Network’s UX Researcher you will be a key member of the Customer Experience team, directly shaping the user experience using research methodologies and empathy to extract insights about our users and their journeys. By conducting interviews, surveys and analyses of data you’ll help us understand the behaviour of our customers, their pain points, and moments of delight. You will work closely with Design, Business Intelligence and Account Management, directly contributing to the continuous improvement of our product.


Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Management, Design and other stakeholders to identify research topics based on estimated impact, and co-design meaningful ways to explore them within our collective constraints to contribute to our strategy

  • Plan, synthesize and conduct user research using qualitative and mixed methods (e.g. interviews, surveys, online platform tools, review analysis, ethnographic studies...) to understand potential user needs and flow.
  • Translate findings and supporting data into strategic insights and collect/analyze user behaviour through a variety of qualitative methods.

  • Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and oral presentations.

Requirements

  • Valid work visa for Spain and professional English level.

  • First-hand experience with primary and secondary research in a UX or life sciences setting, including conducting interviews, surveys and questionnaires.

  • Ability to verbally engage with C-Level executives.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Learning Sciences, Statistics or related fields; or the equivalent practical experience.

  • Ability to interpret usability studies and quantitative research results.

  • Experience working with analytics software (Google Analytics, Hotjar, or similar)

  • Even better if you have Design experience building tech products.
