Bull City Learning is a creative, experienced team of learning consultants in downtown Durham with a passion for helping the world’s leading companies get the most out of their training efforts. We’re seeking an experienced UI/UX designer to help design a technology ecosystem that will put learning into the hands of global health professionals working to ensure that all children are immunized.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Program Lead and in collaboration with the broader project team, the UI/UX Designer will help translate user insights and feedback into system features; create, prototype, test, and revise interface designs; and work with developers as those ideas are brought to life. This will require:

• Helping to gather and prioritize user requirements
• Helping to conceive of product features based on user insights
• Quickly translating those requirements into visual concepts/prototypes
• Working with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on the prototypes
• Creating and iterating on interface designs
• Work with software developers as the designs are implemented

Capabilities

• Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders in the design process
• Ability to communicate UI/UX concepts effectively
• Ability to take feedback, adapt, and quickly iterate on designs
• Strong design taste and sensibilities

Qualifications

•  Minimum three years of experience designing software/app user interfaces
• Bachelor’s or higher in a design-related field
• Proficiency with all of the necessary UI/UX software
