About the role

In a nutshell, someone who can build and lead our UX capabilities in the Marketing team.

We’re looking for someone to join our growing Marketing team, who is passionate about ensuring we create best in class, engaging customer experiences every single time a customer interacts with us.

What you’re responsible for

-Work with product, engineering, marketing and operations to shape the product vision for our marketing products and to develop compelling, easy-to-use user experiences
-Create solutions and develop ways of working to improve our CX across every channel and customer touch point
-Work with the right team to ensure you balance user, business and technical needs when developing product strategy and features
-You’ll produce relevant, high quality assets to support your recommendations including wireframes, customer journeys, site maps and information architecture
-Stay current on design and UX theories and trends, recommend new tools & techniques
-Maintain and optimise our uw.co.uk site, new marketing owned products and CMS tool

A bit more about you

-Outstanding instincts in UX, UI and interaction design
-Strong knowledge of user research techniques and how to best apply them
-Strong practical UX and prototyping skills, a good eye for aesthetic detail and the ability to work at varying levels of fidelity
-Strong communication skills; the ability to confidently explain concepts and influence people at all levels
-Thorough knowledge of the creative, design and development processes
-A pragmatic problem solver
-Thorough understanding of digital communications and marketing channels
-Able to work both independently and as part of a team
-Experience of G Suite; Gmail, Gdrive, Google Slides, Google Docs etc.
-And like all UW people, you’re motivated and ambitious, both for yourself and the business you work for
