The Mathspace Design team crafts delightful experiences for thousands of Maths students worldwide. We are a friendly, collaborative bunch, guided by design thinking and a lean product mindset.

Combining aesthetics, empathy, data, and ui design, we solve fundamental problems that help thousands of students around the world to learn and love mathematics more everyday.

The Role

We are seeking a driven designer to oversee the visual design of Mathspace ensuring consistency across UI, content and marketing. While we're looking for someone who has a "no job is too big or too small" attitude we also want you to focus on the highest value work, so you will be responsible for delegating and outsourcing tasks as appropriate based on your workload and team priorities.

You’ll be able to use your full range of skills from UI, motion graphic, and visual design to help us build a strong visual brand.

Requirements

You love making things beautiful – you understand colour composition, space and can balance creativity and consistency.

You have some experience working on a design system.

You have an experience in designing for the web.

You have strong experience in brand design.

You have strong illustration skills.

You have experience in managing your own workflow and communicating directly to clients to scope requirements.

You are a team player and can collaborate with other designers, marketers, content authors, developers to raise the bar for our product quality.

You have a bachelor degree in Design, or a related field.

Motion design skill is a plus.
