The Role
Our UX/UI Designer is confident in creating beautiful user-focused design solutions across a range of sectors. You'll be working to a clear brief, with an established brand identity, to re-think the user journeys and improve the online experience.

You’ll be looking to define solutions end-to-end, working with clients, as well as our own teams. You’ll be passionate about creating simple design solutions from complex systems & processes, have an understanding of design systems and patterns and ideally have some understanding of accessibility.
What does success look like :
Immersion in research outputs and existing client preparatory material.
Developing wireframes and task flows based on user needs to create intuitive user-friendly experiences.
Developing the wireframes into UI designs. The UI will need to follow/create a clear componentized structure and digital style guide.
Working in Figma and XD.
Presenting to the team and to clients.
Delivering documentation & user-friendly guides for tech/content teams.
Being confident to make good design decisions and to present solutions to other members of the team and stakeholders.
Have a passion for shaping the way we work, and the type of work we take on.
Help the agency to win awesome new clients by being involved in the pitching process, creating impressive pitch decks and creative concepts and helping influence those clients to align with the vision of LAB.
Work closely with the development team to help bring the creative vision to life.

Key skills and attributes of a UX/UI Designer at LAB:
Self-starting and proactive. But can recognise when to ask for further guidance and support.
Knowledgeable of user-centred design principles, visual design, user behaviour, interactions.
Confident to make good design decisions and to present solutions to other members of the team and stakeholders.
Happy to become part of the core delivery team. This includes joining daily stand-ups with the clients and helping to run internal workshops.
Strong collaborator, facilitator and communicator.
