Senior UX Designer

We’re looking for a well-rounded Senior UX Designer to join our team as we continue to grow our brand and build cohesive customer experiences. At 1-800 Contacts, the Product Design team is chartered with constantly improving our e-commerce storefronts and digital experiences. As a designer on the Product Design Team, this role is essential in designing key user flows and interfaces that drive business results.

What you’ll do:

• Conduct user research and design customer journey maps and user flows
• Work with a small cross-functional team including developers, product manager, QA, and analyst
• Build wireframes, design mockups and high-fidelity user interfaces
• Work closely with developers and a product manager to implement designs
• Work with designers across other teams to create a cohesive customer experience
• Follow and help further develop a design system
• Create new experiences and refine existing ones as needed

What you have:

• A minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in product design (ecommerce is a plus)
• A strong portfolio showing your work, samples, and experience
• Strong working knowledge of design and prototyping software (we work in Figma)
• An amazing attention to detail and a passion for creating thoughtful work
• Excellent communication and people skills, critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
