We are looking for a user-experience (UX) designer to work alongside our core UX team based in Dubai, U.A.E.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceiving and conducting design thinking workshops to generate ideas alongside the client to establish a shared understanding, and translating that into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products
• Run design thinking workshops with clients to establish a shared understanding
• Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions
• Understand business requirements and any technical limitations
• Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features
• Conduct secondary research Competitive landscape, benchmarking etc.
• Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Four or more years of UX design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.
• Expertise in standard UX software such as Figma, Sketch, Miro, Framer, and the like is a must
• Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
• Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
• Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design solutions
• Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism
• Proficiency in Arabic is a plus but not a requirement
• Willing to travel and work across the GCC
