We're currently hiring for a part time UX research Internship for 15-20 hrs/week. UX Research Interns will help our product managers and UX designers during our discovery, testing, and feedback phases across our products. This role will help take our products to the next level as we continue to scale not only in functionality, but also across user types and their needs.

What is a day in the life of a UX Research Intern?
- Help product managers during discovery, testing, and feedback phases across all products
- Help define partner profiles, requirements, needs, and opportunities for innovation
- Help facilitate qualitative and quantitative studies by gathering requirements, planning, designing, creating and launching the studies, and reporting on findings.
- Get involved in sketching, prototyping, and user testing before passing the design onto the development team
What will I need to thrive in this role?
- Experience designing websites and mobile experiences using Figma or a similar design tool
- Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in college
- Major in Design, Product, Research, Psychology, or related discipline
- Experience with Video Editing software
- Experience with User Testing software
What does high performance look like?
Working closely with users, product, and the rest of the UX team, the recipe for success in this role will come through attention to detail, asking the right questions, diving into a problem to find the appropriate solution, and understanding Pattern’s goals and how our solutions help our users reach those goals.
What is my potential for career growth?
While there is no set position available at the end of the internship, the right candidate, executing at a high level may be considered for a role post internship, or an extension to continue working with the team.
What is the team like?
The UX team currently includes 8 designers across 2 offices working on 4 products. The team includes a diverse mix of backgrounds with a former architect, creative director, front end developer, and more than 50+ years of combined UX experience amongst the team.
