The Role

As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for providing direction on designs for platform and channel requirements specifically focusing on the customer UI/UX. You will work closely with the SBC Branding Team to ensure best practices are being met and aligned from an Institutional Standpoint. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the prototype or flow (channel) adheres to the bank & industry best practices and putting first clients ease of accessibility.

How you'll contribute

  • UI/UX Management – Work closely with different Peers (BU’s, IT, Channel Managers and Third-Party Providers) to ensure that the wireframe or prototype aligns to the Banks, Industry, and clients’ best practices.
  • Quality Assurance and Orientation – Work closely with Channel Managers, IT Team, and stakeholders to do end to end testing to ensure the quality of work.
  • Requirement Gathering– Understand internal customer needs and translate them into business requirements for technology partners.
  • Demonstration – Work closely with BA, SMEs and to do demonstration of the prototype / channel with regard to the enhancement made.
  • Project Management – Create a project plan together with Channel Managers and ensure timely delivery (milestones) of projects.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Interaction Design, Visual Design or any related course
  • At least 5 years’ experience in either a Bank or Fintech industry with a track record in creating UI/UX portfolio with visual design skills, ensuring that business requirements coming from the stakeholder are documented and able to do project management.
  • Preferably with UI/UX Certifications / Trainings
  • Ability to articulate requirements into a more detailed one following the Agile methodologies (User Stories / Epics)
  • Stakeholder Management, Empathy for customers problems and needs, Communication skills in doing Demonstration or Training
