What you’ll be doing | Te whakamahere

You will contribute your design thinking to enhance our customer experience and drive export growth through technology by developing digital products that enhance the capability of our customers (New Zealand businesses). You will also be a part of the ongoing effort to weave digital into the fabric of NZTE’s culture and be a driver for innovation and future proofing our organisation.

What you’ll need to be successful | ? P?kenga 

You will bring your fantastic communication skills, creativity and generosity with your knowledge to create digital solutions for our customers. You will be an experienced UX Designer, with a proven portfolio of work and a great track record of establishing fantastic working relationships to create impactful outcomes.
 
Along with this you will:
 
·       Be an enthusiastic and skilled collaborator who values the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams to define problems and ideate potential solutions.
·       Have excellent communication and story-telling skills – and the willingness to use them often along with being comfortable talking to a variety of different people.
·       Take pride in crafting visually pleasing (as well as supremely functional) digital interfaces
·       Have extensive experience working closely with software developers throughout the lifecycle of a project – from early consultation and scoping to late stage tweaking and refinement
·       Have a high level of proficiency with Figma and Miro (Storybook and Framer is a bonus) and be a quick learner with new platforms – we guarantee part of our productivity and delivery stack will be unfamiliar, but that won’t be a problem for you!
