About The Role

We are seeking a talented UI/UX designer to join our team on a part-time contract basis and work on an exciting new product we are developing. The product will include a suite of tools to streamline small business operations, such as scheduling, invoicing, review management, and more. Our goal is to create a highly approachable interface that seamlessly blends our brand’s distinct personality with cutting-edge user experience concepts, resulting in a modern and engaging interface. The successful candidate will have a strong portfolio that demonstrates their ability to create a highly intuitive, user-centered design that takes into account the needs of small business owners and their customers.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…

• Design and create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs for the app
• Conduct user research and testing to understand user needs and behaviors
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other stakeholders to design and implement features that are easy to use and navigate
• Design and implement intuitive user interfaces that improve the overall user experience
• Continuously improve the user interface by incorporating user feedback and iterating on designs
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies in the field of UI/UX design

We're excited about you because you bring…

• At least 3 years of experience in UX/UI design for web and mobile applications
• Strong portfolio of UI/UX design work demonstrating your ability to create highly accessible designs: prior experience designing portal dashboards are a plus
• Previous demonstrated experience working on a SAAS product
• Experience using front-end libraries such as Ant Design or MUI
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma
• Ability to conduct user research, testing, and analysis to inform design decisions
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
