About the role:
As a UX Researcher at Educative, you will play a crucial role in understanding user behaviors, needs, and motivations to enhance the usability and overall user experience of our products, services, and websites. By conducting qualitative and quantitative research, you will uncover valuable insights that will inform the design and development process, ensuring that our o?erings are intuitive, enjoyable, and meet the needs of our users.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and developers, to identify research objectives and questions that align with our business goals. Your expertise in research methodologies will be instrumental in planning and executing comprehensive research studies.
You will be responsible for creating user personas, journey maps, and other research deliverables that e?ectively communicate user insights and facilitate informed design decisions. Your advocacy for user-centered design principles will be pivotal in fostering a culture of empathy and understanding within the organization, ensuring that user needs remain at the forefront of our product development process.
In this role, you will:
- Uncover user behaviors, needs, and motivations to make products, services, and websites more intuitive and enjoyable for users.
- Using qualitative and quantitative methods, conduct comprehensive research and share the insights from research with the UX designers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and developers, to identify research objectives and questions.
- Create user personas, journey maps, and other research deliverables to communicate user insights and facilitate design decisions.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and promote a user-centric mindset within the organization.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UX research methodologies and tools.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Computer Science, Anthropology, or a related ?eld. Minimum of 3 years of experience conducting user research analysis.
- Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and data analysis.
- Experience conducting user research studies, either through internships, academic projects, or personal projects.
- Familiarity with research tools and software such as UserZoom, Optimal Workshop, or similar tools is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present research ?ndings in a clear and compelling manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with changing and sometimes overlapping priorities.
