About this role:

The creative team is a small but influential vertical in our organization. As a Senior Product Designer at Echobind, you will play a crucial role in driving creative output and shaping the digital strategy for our projects. Your expertise in user experience and user interface design will be instrumental in creating intuitive and engaging digital experiences across web and mobile app projects. We prioritize a healthy work-life balance and have been a remote organization since our inception. This position is based anywhere within the continental United States.

In this role you will:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define user requirements, design outcomes, and advocate for the user experience throughout the project lifecycle
  • Facilitate effective communication with internal teams, clients, and partners and lead discovery workshops and design presentations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead the end to end design process across a wide range of mobile and web applications for a variety of clients ranging from manufacturing to healthcare
  • Conduct user research and usability tests, analyze findings, and synthesize insights to inform design decisions
  • Collaborate closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs
  • Maintain an understanding of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to product design
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and ensure the delivery of high-quality, intuitive user experiences
  • Conduct heuristic evaluations, competitive analyses, card sorts, and tree tests
  • Create user flows, sitemaps, content inventories, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity visual designs
  • Contribute to the refinement and evolution of design processes and standards within the company, including mentoring and providing feedback to other designers

Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience designing digital experiences with a strong portfolio showcasing your product design work
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (we use Figma)
  • Demonstrated expertise in the end-to-end design process, including user experience design, interaction design, and visual design
  • Solid understanding of responsive design principles and the ability to create designs that work across multiple platforms and devices
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and incorporate feedback effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints in design solutions
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as the only designer on a project as well as collaborate in a team-oriented environment

Nice to Haves:

  • Familiarity with healthcare technology and an understanding of the unique challenges and considerations within this industry
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices to ensure inclusive design experiences for users of all abilities
  • Experience with design systems

We are committed to practicing and promoting pay equity. The base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 per year, in addition to 401k match, an annual performance bonus, and other benefits and perks. This range reflects the good-faith hiring base salary range for this position. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training.
