It is the only application to fully address the needs of statewide psychiatry access program with major customers such as the states of Texas and Vermont and powering programs such as Child Psychiatry Access Network (CPAN) and Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT).

At Trayt Health, we’re looking for a creative and customer-focused Senior Product Designer.

As the Senior Product Designer at Trayt, you will be responsible for translating user needs and business objectives into innovative and intuitive designs for our products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to deliver exceptional user experiences and visually appealing designs.

The ideal candidate is passionate about user-centered design, has a strong eye for detail, and possesses excellent problem-solving skills.

This role will report to the Director of Product at Trayt.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Have 5+ years of experience in product design or UX design
  • Conduct user research and gather user requirements to inform the design process
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define and refine product features and functionalities
  • Ensure the design is aligned with the overall brand identity, style guidelines, and user interface best practices
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and data-driven insights
  • Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and gather feedback for further refinement
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure the successful implementation of designs
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design and leverage them in your work
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and contribute to improving the overall design process within the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Proven experience as a Product Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, or similar
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
  • Visual design skills with a keen eye for typography, color, and layout
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive design solutions
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders
  • Experience with responsive and mobile design principles is highly desirable

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • Background in healthcare/digital health is a plus
  • Experience in the behavioral or mental health category is plus
  • Startup experience


Salary Range:

Annual salary of $150K - $185K -- plus stock options
