About the role:

  • Contribute your talent and dedication to human-centered design to the development of innovative technology products and processes in an iterative development environment
  • Build a deep understanding of the user’s needs and passionately advocate on their behalf to deliver innovative solutions at the nexus of usability and usefulness
  • Detangle complexity through generative and evaluative research: planning and facilitating observational studies, interview sessions, workshops, and usability studies
  • Document key findings and insights and communicate complex concepts visually in the form of research artifacts that developers and stakeholders can reference: personas, journey maps, affinity diagrams, wireframes, service blueprints
  • Create wireframes, mock ups, and prototypes to validate designs before development hand-off
  • Communicate with developers throughout the research – design – development – delivery lifecycle for smooth handoffs
  • Practice continuous learning, stay up-to-date on industry best practices, and bring your unique ideas and perspective to the team

What we are looking for:? 

  • Demonstrated experience in the full spectrum of UX methods and activities: UX Strategy & Planning, user flows, journey mapping, wireframes, visual design, interaction design, workshop facilitation, qualitative research, quantitative research, analysis
  • Knowledge of service design for optimizing processes including onboarding and help desk processes
  • Experience working in an Agile environment collaborating with PMs, developers, engineers, stakeholders, users, and other UX Designers

Clearance Requirements:? 

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI

Work Type:? 

  • Remote
  • Willing to occasionally meet on-site with customers in the San Antonio, TX area
