We are seeking a skilled and innovative UX/UI Designer to join our team as a part-time contractor (Less than 30 hours per week). You will play a vital role in shaping exceptional user experiences and visually captivating user interfaces across our digital platforms.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, demonstrating proficiency in creating wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups. Your ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving project needs will be key to excelling in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our cross-functional team to understand our clients' unique needs, to conceptualise and implement design solutions
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for our B2B platform
- Translate complex tasks and data into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces
- Conduct user research and usability tests to gather user feedback
Requirements
- Be willing to work in Australian business hours
- Proven experience in designing dual persona workflows and creating intuitive, user-centric and efficient solutions
- Excellent visual design skills with a strong portfolio demonstrating your UI/UX work
- Proficient with design software such as Figma or similar
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Bootstrap or equivalent framework
- Demonstrable experience working with Design Systems, particularly Carbon
- Strong understanding of accessibility and usability principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in B2B environments.
$23 - $50 an hour
