Midweight UI Designer

As an adaptable team member, your role will be to support projects while also bringing your own ideas to the table, executing work on time and to the highest levels of craft. You should be varied in your creative approach, constantly exploring ideas and delivering design directions that bring ideas to life in surprising ways.

As a Mid-Weight Designer, you will collaborate with broader cross-functional project teams to deliver world-class, pioneering ideas and push boundaries.

Working with our ECD and Design Directors, you will be eager to turn the ordinary into something extraordinary. You will act as a creative engine within projects, ensuring pixel-perfect design across digital communications, interface design, and interaction design.

We have several exciting project opportunities and are looking for a passionate and energetic person to ensure these projects are executed to the highest design standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Push the craft: Every detail counts, from the flat design to the small interaction details. You sweat the small stuff, care and understand that the details make up the whole.
• Time management: Ensuring that all work is delivered to the timescales and schedules of the project.
• Presentation: You should feel confident talking about your design decisions and their rationale. We harbour a "you designed it, you present it" mentality, so you will be required to present to clients and internal teams.
• Adaptable: You should be able to work independently or as part of a group, seeking assistance from the design directors and creative director when needed. Feel as happy in creating ideas and final digital production.
• Help to deliver on design direction: Great ideas can come from anywhere, so bringing your creative ideas to the table for entirely new concepts or helping to build on something existing is a critical skill.
• Produce compelling experiences: Create highly usable experience solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations.
• Proactive and professional mindset: Proactively helping build the team's design culture with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn and push oneself.

• Demonstrated experience: In the creative industry at other design studios or in-house product design or creative teams.
• Comprehensive portfolio: Showcase a thorough understanding of how your creative disciplines come to life. Demonstrate your thinking and execution skills, including conceptual and tangible design assets in the user experience and UI design.
• Design industry knowledge: Possess a solid knowledge of the design industry at large, current design trends and emerging technologies.
• Collaborative Mindset: Experience working alongside Strategy, UX and Tech teams.
• Tools of the trade: A working knowledge of modern design tools and processes, including Figma, Adobe CC Suite etc.
• A passion: You have a deep passion and love for all things digital and design.
• Excellent communication skills: Possess exceptional verbal, written, interpersonal, and inter-departmental communication skills.
• Professionalism and presence: Exhibit superb professionalism and a high-energy presence in all aspects of the job.

It would also be beneficial if you have the following:

• A good understanding of product design, motion design and prototyping skills.
