Stackline is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Visual Designer to join our team.

You have an “anything is possible” mindset when faced with highly ambiguous and complex problems. You’re proud of your work, your skills and expertise – but you’re not cynical or inflexible. You love iterating to find the perfect solution, and the opportunity to push yourself into different design mediums. You have a background in creating beautiful and intuitive design concepts, geek out over user or client experience, and believe that no product is perfect unless it wows customers in unexpected ways. You have demonstrated design acumen, an initiative to always be bettering your skills while gaining new ones. You believe in the power of strategic design to differentiate experience and the importance of elevating our visual identity.

We are seeking an exceptional Visual/UI Designer to join our growing design team. You will concept and craft unique and compelling visual designs for customer experiences, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and other visual designers throughout the design and development lifecycle. As a storyteller and expert, you will advocate for design excellence – contributing to product vision.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in a variety of design tools such as Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Jira, Confluence and Airtable.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate cross-medium creativity such as product, content, and web collateral.
  • You don’t need to be an expert in all these areas – just exhibit of a willingness to lean into learning
  • Experience creating high fidelity mockups, and prototypes for complex web applications and/or workflows
  • An appreciation for in-person collaboration.
  • This role is in office 5 days a week to support strong cross-team relationships
  • 2+ years of industry experience as a Visual Designer or Product Designer.
  • Bachelor’s degree or reputable bootcamp in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or equivalent design-related field
  • A strong online portfolio demonstrating samples of design deliverables as well as evidence of working with product teams

  • Receptivity to wearing different design hats, with an openness to step outside of your comfort zone
  • A team player, we’re only succeeding if we’re all succeeding together
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity to drive the design process from start to finish
  • A self-starter, with an optimistic attitude.
  • You know when to ask for support, but you proactively push your work as far as you can independently to keep growing
  • Willingness to change direction when advised, and work concurrently on several projects with different teams

Actual salaries are just one component of the compensation package and may vary above or below the range based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, location, and performance. The pay for this position in Seattle is $80,000 per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and other team-specific awards.
