We're looking for someone to participate in all stages of the product development process – from the discovery to the delivery - along with our existing Design team (1 Design Manager, 3 Product Designers and 1 UX Engineer), as well as working in collaboration with our Product Managers, Data Scientists and Software Engineers to make our product grow.

You'll contribute to the definition of the product vision, successfully drive the implementation of new features. and support the technical team to identify potential problems and opportunities.

As an experienced Product Designer, you're driven by goals and are meticulous in your attention to detail - whilst keeping an eye on the overall vision - and as this is a role for pure team players, show a capacity for collaborating with cross-functional teams.

At Akur8, our Product Designer's responsibilities include:

• Analysing user interface problems and design solutions that meet business goals and technical requirements
• Conducting usability testing or other user research tests to obtain user insights
• Monitoring user feedback and performing interface adaptations
• Creating process flows, wireframes, and designing mockups as needed to effectively conceptualise and communicate detailed interaction behaviours
• Animating workshops to key stakeholders to tackle complex problems and find new ideas (brainstorming sessions, HMW, card sorting, design sprints etc.)
• Creating high-fidelity prototypes and being responsible for the design handoff to the development team.
• Contributing to the DesignOps topics such as: creating new components in the design system, supporting the UX Engineer, writing documentation and guidelines for new interfaces, etc

In order to be considered for this position within our Design team, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A BSc or MSc in a UX/UI or Design related subject (Cognitive Science, Psychology, etc)
• 3+ years professional experience as a UX / Product Designer on technical projects (B2B or Tech)

• Excellent working knowledge of Figma
• Knowledge of usage and user problems in complex environments and contexts
• Practical knowledge of the methods necessary for user profiling (persona), creation of usage scenarios & proposals for interaction concepts (information architecture, tree structures, lo-fi prototyping, wireframes, hi-fi prototypes, etc.)
• Skills in UI design and knowledge of how to build and maintain a design system

• A problem-solving spirit as well as a sense of constructive criticism.
• Precise, demanding and not afraid to insist in order to achieve results in line with user expectations
• Well organised, comfortable with multi-tasking and an ability to prioritise your workload

• You have fluent written and spoken English
