Launched in 2021, Apex ESG Advantage is a business-to-business (b2b) software as a Service (SaaS) platform that allows companies to track their ESG performance and benchmark it against their peers and industry best practices. Specifically designed for the private equity market, it provides investors and fund managers with a holistic overview of the performance of their portfolio companies.

The role

Your role as UX/UI Designer will be to assist the Product Manager and the Commercial team in creating designs for new products, improving the look and feel of the platform, enhancing the user experience and collecting user insights. You will play a central role in shaping the product and growing the design function within the product team.

Responsibilities

• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Design graphic user interface elements
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes in Figma that illustrate how features function and look like
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
• Work with the product and commercial team to evaluate user requirements
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
• Translate user feedback into design changes
• Develop and maintain style standards, fonts, colours and element library
• Present your ideas to internal teams and key stakeholders

Skills & Experience

• 3 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer in a software development environment. B2b software is a plus.
• Knowledge of Figma.
• Experience working in a start-up or early-stage company is beneficial.
• Experience solving challenging technical problems involving complex trade-offs and difficult decisions.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally and working directly with product, design, and business stakeholders.
• Experience presenting to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with remote international teams.
