Can you bring creative human-centred ideas to life and make great things happen beyond what meets the eye?

We believe in teamwork, fun, complex projects, and simple solutions. How about you? We’re looking for a talented Lead UX Designer with the experience, passion, and skills to help us rid the world of poor design by placing creativity and quality at the heart of everything we do.

Would you like to…?

  • Design and prototype interfaces and experiences in areas such as mobile, desktop, web, embedded devices, auto, TV, and AR/VR
  • Work systematically with complex business processes and align them with strategic direction, user insights and opportunity spaces, and transform these into powerful concepts and designs ready for implementation.
  • Produce storyboards, scenarios, user flows, wireframes, design prototypes and UI specifications.
  • Clearly communicate and present the work and run workshops with clients.
  • Collaborate with other Designits, clients, and third parties to ensure design intent throughout the development.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments, trends and thinking within design, and share your thoughts and enthusiasm with both colleagues and clients.
  • Manage client relationships, support sales activities, and identify user-focused business opportunities.
  • Mentor, support and inspire other designers, some of whom will report to you. Share your knowledge on UX/UI methods, tools and trends with the rest of your colleagues in the studio and around the world, and help others grow.
  • Scope, plan, and lead UX activities from initial requirements to concept, interaction design and development.
  • Work with one of the largest communities of design-strategists with significant career development runway for you.

We would like you to have...

  • Relevant experience with increasing design creation and delivery responsibility, a diverse portfolio, excellent written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail, follow-through, and zero-error attitude.
  • Experience conducting existing software UX evaluation and developing improved designs through rapid prototyping, iterations, and user validation.
  • Experience scoping, planning, and leading UX activities from initial requirements to concept, interaction design and development
  • Experience creating user journeys, prototypes, and detailed wireframes, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Hands-on capability to create dynamic wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that illustrate site layout, navigation, controls, and content prioritization.
  • Deep understanding of a multi-device world with demonstrable experience creating and delivering for mobile, responsive design, tab, and surface formats.
  • Experience of delivering work with an agile methodology mindset and constantly seeking to add value and find informed design solutions, whilst keeping an eye on timelines, and budgets.
  • The ability to perform to expert level with tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Axure, and other prototyping tools.
  • A ‘here to help’ attitude, who absolutely, fundamentally believes that we’re better together when working with other studios and colleagues in other areas of the Wipro consulting business.
  • An enthusiasm for and appreciation of working with colleagues from other disciplines like service design, business design or design research.
  • Experience in managing and leading real multidisciplinary teams (IT, Design and Business at the same time) that can contribute to the full end to end solution that our clients desire and want to buy.

Working at Designit...

  • Designit is a truly global business and although you will primarily be based in our London studio you can expect to work on projects and programmes of work with brilliant like-minded individuals from across the world from any of our 14 international studios.
  • Designit is part of the Wipro family and with this comes a sizeable opportunity for you to solve complex human challenges on a range of large technology and transformation programmes for some of the most well-known, and emerging, brands in the world.
  • One of the many of advantages of working at Designit is that you can never fully predict the nature of the work that might be coming your way and this diverse mix of challenges will enable you to constantly embrace new ways of working and develop your career across several dimensions.
  • We work across all sectors so you might find yourself designing for a better patient experience in healthcare, and the next introducing an entirely new design system for a global media brand.
  • As a business we are very open and approachable and will aim to support you in how and where you chose to work, and as such we are predominantly set-up for hybrid and remote working, however we believe in the studio culture and often the best feelings and outcomes are gained from working in the studio and on site with clients and colleagues alike. Therefore we would expect you to be willing and flexible to work from client locations if and when needed or a min of 2-3 days per week from our London studio.
  • We are an award-winning business and this year alone we have already won three London Design awards.
