UX/UI Designer

NotCo

Hello! This is NotCo. We are a group of people united by a very strong purpose.

We want you to get to know us, and Giuseppe, our very own artificial intelligence. We are food enthusiasts, but above all, we love the planet. That's why, to protect it, we've removed animals from the equation.

Our recipe? It includes three major components: science, technology, and of course, disruptive talents. We work daily to create a better future.

At NotCo, we're not aiming to be the perfect company, but the right one. We're here to bring change, which is why we take risks, we fail, and at times, achieve incredible success.

We are looking for a UX/UI Designer for our AI team based in Santiago de Chile.

We are already more than 40 people building a technology that seeks to put humans and artificial intelligence in collaboration, which is why we need platforms with a great UX and an attractive UI. The Giuseppe Platform consists primarily of predictive and generative models, as well as a central data repository that allows us to link nutritional, physicochemical, and molecular information to a myriad of ingredients. This technology is put in collaboration with its users through the use of the different modules of the Giuseppe platform that you will design together with your team: Biagio, Flora, Discovery and Toolbox.

Main responsibilities of the role:

Research and understand about the users of our products and their context in the industry.
Conceptualize requirements through low and high fidelity wireframes, mockups and prototypes.
Test and iterate the proposals together with users.
Validate that the developments carried out are in line with the proposed design.
Track products to identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate and build workshops to introduce our platforms to new users.
Make good use of the design system and collaborate in its construction.

What we would like to find:
Academic training in design (or related careers where design thinking runs through your veins).
At least 3 years of work experience in digital platform design.
Advanced handling of digital design tools (Figma or equivalent that you can transfer to Figma without problems).
Material Design Expertise.
Ability to self-manage and meet tasks and objectives without the need for external pressure.
Attention to detail and ability to keep up with the development of features and improvements to our platforms.
Communication skills in multidisciplinary teams (data scientists, chefs, food developers).
Advanced English, written and spoken.

Not mandatory but a plus:
Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Experience occupying GitHub or similar.
Knowledge of service design methodologies.
Experience in information design and data visualization.
Interest in machine learning models and other artificial intelligence applications.
If our purpose and way of working vibrate with you, and you want to be part of this story, apply to join this squad.

WHY NOT!

The million-dollar question is: Are you hungry to change the world? Because there are plenty of reasons to make the decision and say: WHY NOT.

Today, you can start making a change for the planet without changing anything of what you love.
