Lavender (lavender.ai) is the leading sales email assistant and coach for sales teams. We own a unique dataset with numerous applications related to B2B writing, specifically in email. Insights derived from millions of emails, personality insights, news & events are combined with an identity graph mapping preferred communications and reply trends. We’re making key hires to build useful contributions with real-world applications that are changing the way businesses communicate at scale. 

 

This role is a crucial part of our forthcoming roadmap -- someone who is inspired by taking ownership of core product offerings, building amazing experiences for our users, and who wants to see their work have immediate impact in production environments. The Engineer will be responsible for building full features in our analytics dashboard and Chrome extension (https://www.lavender.ai). As a key pillar of our engineering team, you’ll work closely with the founders and have a meaningful impact on the future of sales communication.

 

Responsibilities

  • Taking ownership of both UI and UX projects
  • Maintaining and enhancing existing features based on usage metrics and user feedback
  • Writing modular and maintainable code
  • Collaborating with AI engineers to integrate models into our applications

 

Requirements and Skills

  • +5 years of proven experience as a UI/UX Engineer or similar role
  • Strong understanding of UX theory principle
  • High focus on user experience and intentional design making throughout the design process
  • Experience in user interface design tools like Figma
  • Experience with Agile methodologies - sprints, pull requests, code reviews
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain the underlying logic of features
  • Comfortable with full lifecycle, everything from defining tasks to QA
