About the role

    • At Zeta tech innovation is married with exceptional design. We are crafting the best Digital Banking Experiences for the largest financial institutions across the globe encompassing credit cards, commercial credit, deposits, loans, family banking and other financial products and services. We are looking for a Head of Design who will directly report to our CEO, Bhavin Turakhia leading a team of rockstars committed to revolutionizing digital banking experiences and shaping the future of digital banking.

What would you do here?

    • UX Strategy: Develop and execute a user experience (UX) strategy that aligns with Zeta's vision for digital banking, ensuring a seamless and innovative experience across all products and platforms
    • Design Systems and Standards: Establish and maintain a scalable design system, setting standards for user interfaces, ensuring consistency, and improving efficiency in the design process.
    • User Research and Insights: Oversee user research to gain insights into customer needs and behaviors. Utilize this data to inform design decisions and ensure user-centered design principles are at the core of all products.
    • Quality Assurance and Testing: Ensure the quality of UX designs through rigorous testing and feedback mechanisms, continuously iterating to enhance user satisfaction.
    • Innovation in Design Thinking: Foster a culture of innovation and design thinking within the team, encouraging creative problem-solving approaches and experimentation with new design methodologies.
    • Trends Monitoring: Stay abreast of the latest trends in UX design and fintech, incorporating innovative ideas and technologies to keep Zeta’s consumer facing Products at the forefront of digital banking.
    • Team Management and Development: Lead and expand a team of designers, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement. Provide mentorship and career development opportunities to team members.
    • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineering, product management, and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive and effective implementation of UX designs. Facilitate a collaborative environment that bridges the gap between design and technical implementation.

    • Expertise in UX Design: Profound knowledge in user experience design, including creating user personas, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes.
    • Design Thinking: Strong background in UX/UI principles, with the ability to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
    • Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership skills with experience managing design teams.
    • Collaborative Skills: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Communication Proficiency: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to interpret data and user feedback.
    • Innovative Mindset: A knack for innovation and staying updated with the latest trends in design and technology.
    • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities to address design challenges.
    • Technical knowledge: Adequate scripting and coding knowledge to understand the possibilities and limitations of mobile and web design
    • Proficiency in Design Tools: Expertise in using a range of design tools and software
