Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Conducts user research to understand user needs, mental models and working context
- Works with Senior Designers and product owners to understand market needs & vision; work with teams to quickly translate that vision into workflows, interactions, and designs for software
- Lead UX requirement definition sessions and design thinking workshops
- Lead UFEMA activities
- Responsible for Usability related activities and documentation for software development programs
- Conducts Formative and Summative studies
- Work with software engineers in an Agile environment utilizing the latest UX methods, such as Google Design sprints, collaborative design, service design, informal and formal testing, and rapid prototyping
Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
- Bachelor’s Degree within appropriate Engineering/Science discipline
- Experience with Medical Devices
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with UX Design
