As a team who drives product development from ideation to full rollout, the Design Team ensures that our product experiences are valuable to our users.

A researcher at Nu works in an embedded team of product and design and should understand and frame problems and needs inside their teams. A UXR must be able to understand users' behaviors, attitudes, needs, and pain points, translate them into practical and clear findings and insights, and share this knowledge with everyone.

To achieve higher impact of their findings, the researcher should always work in collaboration with Designers, Product Managers, Business Analysts, Engineers, and so on.

With this in mind, the researcher should understand and execute a big variety of research methods from both the quantitative and qualitative sides, as well as be able to communicate their findings in the best way to suit the team.

 

 

Once here, you will:

  • Lead Research projects from conception to delivery within collaborative environments, bringing our users’ perspective on every single situation. 
  • Help develop Research culture with Product Managers and Design Teams, driving the organization to understand the customers' needs, challenges, and problems.
  • Generate insights that shape an exceptional customer experience and impact the product design based on research.
  • Work embedded in cross-functional teams to identify key research questions and goals, addressing them through a mixed methods approach.
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, engineering, customer insights, customer experience, and business analytics to drive customer-centered and evidence-based decisions on product and design strategy.
  • Effectively speak to what matters most for our community; advocating for user-centered design.
  • Push the boundaries of your team’s UXR and help Nu challenge the status quo. 

 

 Requirements 

  • Proven Experience in UX Research (Qualitative and Quantitative methods);
  • Ability to proactively frame business questions and manage stakeholders expectations;
  • Ability to translate research results into business implications;
  • Experience in applying human centered research to digital products;
  • Ability to work well in a highly collaborative and cross-functional team;
  • Ability to influence processes, teammates and Stakeholders. 
  • Adapt to shifting priorities and evolving stakeholders and team needs with openness and agility. 
  • Proactively promote cross functional collaborations on agile environments
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment;
  • Ability acting as an advocate for the user's needs.
  • Excellent Spanish and English: verbal and written communication skills;

Our Nu Way of Working

Our work model is hybrid and has cycles that can be from two to three months according to the business of ​​expertise. For every eight or twelve weeks of remote work, one will be at the office.
