UI/UX Designer

Job Description 

So, what will your new role look like? 

As a vital member of the Digital Experience team, you'll be responsible for creating appealing and user-friendly marketing website interfaces that effectively highlight our products and meet user and business needs. 

You will combine creativity, innovation, and empathy in every design, ensuring they connect deeply with our audience. Your role will involve leveraging design principles to enhance user experience and drive engagement on our websites. This role will be a 12-month contract. 

A typical week? 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend project requirements and objectives. 
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes based on user needs and informed data decisions. 
• Design visually appealing, intuitive, and functional website interfaces, including assets and animations. 
• Continuously optimize designs based on insights gathered from user research, user testing, and data analysis. 
• Ensure brand consistency across various touchpoints by collaborating with the Brand team. 
• Work closely with UX designers to apply brand elements and captivating animations that enhance wireframes. 
• Leverage our design system to ensure technical feasibility and consistency across our website. 
• Work closely with Design Ops and developers to implement designs effectively, ensuring adherence to our design system. 
• Present and explain your ideas to various project stakeholders for validation and feedback. 
• Self-manage tasks within ongoing projects and lead cross-team projects on occasion. 
• Modify, integrate, and build pages using WordPress. 

What does your future team look like? 

The Digital Experience team at Workleap is part of the Marketing department. It is dedicated to the acquisition, conversion, and expansion of thousands of organizations using Workleap's comprehensive suite of products. As a small team of web developers and designers, we contribute by providing insights, internal tools, and user-facing experiences essential for fueling Workleap's growth. We make it easy for people to act on their interest in Workleap. 

Qualifications 

• Proven experience as a UI/UX designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects;
• Solid capacity to interpret a brand and creatively and innovatively express it through design;
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and usability testing methodologies;
• Prior experience creating website designs for marketing purposes (developing digital experiences focusing on lead conversion and revenue generation);
• Ability to conduct user research and usability testing independently;
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
• Autonomous and able to prioritize;
• Comfortable with the unknown and quick to adapt to change;
• Proficiency in UI design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Illustrator;
• Must demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills;
• Experience crafting animations is a plus;
• Familiarity with WordPress is a plus;
• Nice to haves: Prior experience working for a B2B SaaS company, a growth mindset, and a strong understanding of web technologies (such as responsive design, SEO, HTML, and CSS).
