ProbablyMonsters is seeking a Senior Game UI Software Engineer who has experience with gameplay and UI technologies. Being able to implement new UI and gameplay features.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 
  • Design and implement features for the front-end and in-game UI and related gameplay systems.
  • Collaborate with designers, artists, and other engineers on the design and requirements of UI systems.
  • Identify and prioritize milestone goals and break down work into tasks. 
  • Work with team to develop and communicate long-term teach roadmap for UI systems.
  • Assist and mentor other engineers and team members. 
 
QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the game industry as a software engineer.
  • Strong understanding and experience with C/C++. 
  • Experience building game UI used for the production of a game.
  • Strong 3D math knowledge.
  • Experience working with a team of diverse disciplines. 
 
PREFERRED SKILLS:  
  • Experience working within Unreal Engine.
  • Experience shipping UI  for a video game in a professional environment.
  • Experience with gameplay and UI development.

Compensation: 
  • This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, exempt (salaried) position.
  • The full salary range for this position is $147,800 - $221,700 per year. The upper third of the salary range is typically reserved for existing employees who demonstrate strong performance over time. When an offer is made, many factors are considered, such as your unique experience and skills, where you live, where the work will be performed, what similar jobs pay, internal equity, and what you're looking for.
  • In addition to base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for additional incentives, such as a sign-on bonus and short- and long-term incentives. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
