Our Senior UI/UX Designer plays a pivotal role in shaping the digital customer experience and driving business growth through innovative design solutions. The Designer will lead a team of less experienced UI/UX designers, fostering collaboration and mentorship, while also being hands-on in developing digital products and platforms. The position’s focus will be on leveraging user research to design an effective digital customer experience and enhance our website generally, develop business intelligence, driving a positive experience for the users of our operating system and using cutting-edge design techniques to overall enhance customer satisfaction.

Core Role Responsibilities

    • Conduct in-depth user research to understand customer behaviors, preferences, and pain points, using findings to inform design decisions and drive product improvements
    • Lead the design and development of intuitive and visually appealing digital experiences across web and mobile platforms, ensuring consistency and usability
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to define project goals, requirements, and timelines
    • Utilize business intelligence tools such as Power BI to analyze data and derive actionable insights, driving informed design decisions and optimizing user experiences
    • Champion innovation and creative thinking within the design team, exploring new ideas and technologies to stay ahead of industry trends and competitors
    • Lead and mentor a team of UI/UX designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster their professional growth and development
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and other documentation to ensure consistency and scalability across digital platforms
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of digital products, using metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization

Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or related field; Master's degree preferred
    • 2+ years’ experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work and design process
    • 1+ years’ experience leading design projects from concept to delivery, with a focus on driving business results and improving customer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders at all levels
    • Expertise in user research methodologies, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis
    • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
    • Strong analytical skills and experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
    • Experience leading and mentoring a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment
    • Experience working in Residential home services industry
    • Knowledge of front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
    • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management tools such as Jira or Trello
