The Role
Donorbox is seeking a Senior UX/UI Product and Design System Designer to join our agile product team. The ideal candidate is a designer who can take ownership of new feature launches, using their skills and creativity to bring new ideas to life daily.
Responsibilities
Product Team Work:
- Support the product team with your UX/UI design solutions.
- Propose solutions to enhance the overall user experience.
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, UX Writers, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless and high-quality feature launches.
- Ensure the end-to-end UX/UI design quality, focusing on usability, element accessibility, and overall user satisfaction.
- Conduct user testing to identify root causes of user behavior, propose UX/UI improvements, and share findings with the team.
- Elevate the customer experience, impacting how supporters globally engage with the nonprofits using Donorbox.
- Own solutions from start-to-finish, ensuring all team members share your vision.
- Perform user research and testing sessions, backing findings with data, industry trends, and competitor research.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of visual design and interaction rules, consistently producing top-quality designs.
Figma Design System Work:
- Maintain and upgrade the Figma design system to ensure consistency across all files.
- Define, publish, and implement components with other designers to ensure correct usage across various design projects.
- Develop beautiful UI/UX artifacts, using Figma to create interaction prototypes, wireframes, user flows, and storyboards.
- Produce high-quality UI that enhances our design system, collaborating with other designers to maintain and evolve it.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 5 years of experience as a Product or UX Designer for consumer-focused product companies.
- Strong understanding of user experience, including user interface design, design thinking, user-centered design, agile, lean, value measurement, customer outcomes, and emotive design.
- Proficiency in information architecture, multi-step and cross-platform flows, and attention to detail with states, errors, successes, and dead-ends.
- Experience with SaaS products, Site Builders, and Accessibility (strong differentiators).
- Fluency in Figma, mastering components, prototype creation, UI kit styles, and workflows.

- Fully remote based in Canada (ideal candidates based in EST)
- Salary: $65k to $80k USD (~$88k to $108k CAD), depending on experience and location
