POSITION OVERVIEW
This role will be responsible for leading web design capabilities and driving digital best practices across the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of Global Atlantic’s online properties.
The position will play a vital role within project teams, effectively partnering with developers and various other external and internal stakeholders to turn creative designs into working websites and emails.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Creating exceptional user experiences that engage target audiences and drive them to specific calls to action.
· Wireframe and design webpages and other digital experiences, delivering creative and compelling UI and UX.
· Partner with other digital marketing leaders to define the vision and evolution of digital properties
· Ensure appropriate implementation of branding standards across properties.
· Photo and video editing and animation
· Responsive design across mobile and desktop platforms
· Effective consulting on digital design efforts across all lines of business
· Manage agencies as needed
· Ensure ADA compliance
QUALIFICATIONS
· Creative design skills with a strong portfolio
· Proven experience bringing brand positioning to life through websites, landing pages, email campaigns, online advertising, applications and more
· Proven experience leading the design and user interface of large scale, cross-platform, cross-device portals.
· Interactive design skills and problem-solving abilities
· In-depth knowledge and understanding of best practices for designs/strategies for all types of interfaces, mobile, tablet, desktop, etc.
· Technical understanding of a CMS hosting environment, cross platform issues, and integration of other applications which affect the design/experience recommendations
· Desire and ability to work collaboratively with writers, marketers, development partners, IT, and others to create results-generating interactive experiences
· Passion for staying current with recent trends/advancements in interactive design and digital marketing
· Ability to manage own time to deliver exceptional quality work within established budgets and schedules. Project management experience a plus.
· Established proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver (or other tools to design as well as create HTML, CSS, Javascript), General CMS experience; FIGMA and Ceros experience a plus.
· Experience in other animation technologies or Video Editing (Premier/After Effects) highly desirable
· 5+ years of experience
