Position Summary:
As a UX/UI Designer, you'll be at the forefront of shaping Samsung's mobile experiences. You'll craft intuitive, user-centered designs for groundbreaking technologies and form factors, translating your work into tangible products that define the future of mobile interaction.
Position Responsibilities:
- Partner with user researcher to identify opportunities and pain points, informing the design direction.
- Translate user insights, business needs, and emerging trends into compelling future mobile UX/UI concept.
- Develop and iterate on design concepts through wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.
- Champion human-centered design principles throughout the entire design process, from ideation to execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including researchers, content strategists, and creative technologists, to ensure seamless product development by understanding different angles, embracing multiple perspectives, and discovering new opportunities.
- Create and present future mobile UX/UI concept and prototypes to effectively communicate design decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends and technologies, ensuring designs are innovative and feasible.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer or a related field
- Bachelor’s Degree in design research field or equivalent practical experience and training
- Proven ability to translate user research and business needs into intuitive and user-centered designs
- Strong understanding of mobile user experience principles and interaction design best practices
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
- A passion for mobile technology and a strong desire to push the boundaries of user experience
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- System-oriented and innovative thinkers who exhibit creative thinking, a willingness to take risks, and the initiative to drive projects forward
- Bonus points for experience with emerging technologies and a portfolio showcasing innovative mobile UX/UI design
- Agency background would be a plus
