Job Overview:

InVitro Capital is seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to design intuitive and engaging digital experiences for Confider, our AI-driven marketplace SaaS platform. Confider facilitates the buying and selling of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

You will collaborate closely with front-end developers working with JavaScript, Next.js, and React to translate design concepts into functional web pages. You will also maintain and update our website, ensuring it stays consistent with our brand guidelines and delivers a high-quality user experience.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Pacific Time Zone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design web interfaces, layouts, and components using Figma, with a focus on usability and user experience. Ensure designs are optimized for performance and work well across different devices.
• Conduct basic user research and analyze feedback to improve designs. Use tools like Hotjar or Google Analytics to understand user behavior and inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma, ensuring they are responsive and adaptable for various screen sizes.
• Collaborate with front-end developers using JavaScript, Next.js, and React to ensure smooth implementation of designs.
• Maintain and update the design of our website using WordPress and Webflow, ensuring consistency with branding and optimizing for performance.
• Ensure design consistency across all web assets by managing design components, icons, and typography within Figma.
• Design graphics and visual assets for web content, social media, and digital marketing using Adobe Creative Suite tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Optimize designs for mobile-first experiences, focusing on responsive layouts and ensuring a smooth user experience on all devices.

Must-Have Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in web design, with strong proficiency in Figma.
• Strong portfolio showcasing web design projects, including UI/UX work focused on user experience and usability.
• Familiarity with front-end development workflows, particularly working with JavaScript, Next.js, and React.
• Experience with WordPress website maintenance and updates, ensuring design consistency and branding alignment.
• Thorough understanding of responsive design principles for optimized performance on various devices.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite for creating and editing design assets.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for effective collaboration with front-end developers.
