With over 500 business customers and backed by top-tier investors, we’re looking to extend our engineering team with a UI/UX Designer at our office in Berlin (or Augsburg). About The Role

As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience and interface design of Reonic’s platform, a tool that powers the transition to a sustainable energy future. In this collaborative role, you’ll work closely with our engineering team to elevate the user journey, ensuring that our platform is not only functional but also intuitive and visually engaging. You'll be able to make a direct, tangible impact on a product that serves hundreds of businesses and is at the forefront of the renewable energy industry.

What You’ll Do

• Design World-Class User Experiences: Create intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and user-centric interfaces that elevate the Reonic platform and improve customer satisfaction.

• Lead the UI/UX Vision: Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to design innovative solutions that align with the company's vision and goals.

• Own the Web Presence: Drive the design and optimization of Reonic’s website, crafting visually appealing, high-conversion pages that tell our brand story and attract new customers.

• Build Scalable Design Systems: Contribute to the development of a robust design system, enabling consistent and efficient design workflows across the platform and web.

• Champion Brand Consistency: Ensure that all design elements are in line with Reonic’s brand identity, creating a cohesive visual language across all digital touchpoints.

• Influence Product Strategy: Provide valuable input into product strategy by conducting user research, user testing, and translating insights into actionable design decisions.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ Years of UX/UI Design Experience: You have a proven track record of designing user-centered digital products in a fast-paced tech environment.

• Strong Portfolio: Show us your portfolio of beautifully designed interfaces that prioritize user needs and solve complex design challenges.

• Proficiency in Design Tools: Mastery of design software such as Figma, Storybook, and other modern design tools. It would be ideal if you had basic understanding of CSS and HTML.

• Experience with Cross-Functional Teams: You are comfortable collaborating with engineers, product managers, and marketing teams to bring ideas to life and ensure designs are executed flawlessly.

• Startup Experience (Preferred): Familiarity with the dynamic, fast-moving nature of startups and the ability to thrive in an evolving environment.

• Attention to Detail: You have an eye for detail, whether it’s perfecting typography, color schemes, grid systems, or user flows.

• Strong Communication Skills: You can present and justify your design decisions clearly and confidently, in both written and verbal formats.

• Proactive & Ambitious: You take ownership of projects, driving innovation and taking initiative in a results-oriented environment.

Location
This is a full-time, onsite position. Our Berlin office is located at Alexanderplatz, with an additional office in Augsburg for those located in the southern part of Germany.
