What you'll do:

    • Create, evolve, and drive adoption of a new design system to create a cohesive and easy-to-use experience across our researcher and participant experiences
    • Own visual design, you will drive the look and feel of our product
    • Empower our designers and engineers to design, build, and ship faster by creating a reusable component library with guidelines for use
    • Lead design efforts to improve our core researcher experience and define v2 of our platform
    • Design and ship features, quickly and often, with direct impact on key business metrics
    • Continuously improve our product by working with the design team to create an effective process for identifying, resolving, and minimizing UX/UI issues
    • Lead regular design audits and present recommendations to stakeholders
    • Work with product to define problems, sketch ideas, get feedback, and finalize designs
    • Support engineering by communicating your ideas early, delivering final designs, performing design QA, and providing design support throughout development

Who you are:

    • An experienced visual product designer who has worked on agile teams, both shipping products and working on design systems
    • A portfolio showcasing your command of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy, and expertise in creating, evolving, and driving adoption of design systems
    • Proficiency with Figma (or similar design tools)
    • Obsession with quality, pixel-level details, and great design execution
    • Experience leading design projects from initial ideation to handing off final designs to engineering
    • Expertise auditing a product end-to-end, distilling the product to its core components, defining a component library and guidelines for use, and driving adoption and implementation of a design system across all parts of a product
    • Experience aligning and facilitating decision-making with stakeholders
    • Strong interaction design skills
    • A critical design eye when evaluating products and making recommendations
    • Experience shipping products on an agile team, working with product managers, engineers, and other designers
    • Excellent listening and communication skills
