Senior UI/Visual Designer

Diamond is looking for a Sr. UI/Visual Designer to join our growing team. This is a permanent full-time remote position with us in Los Angeles (PST hours) with a flexible work environment and full benefits.
You'll be joining growing team of experienced UX designers, UI/VisD designers, and developers to create next-level applications and websites. You will also help us carve a future with our growing roster of clients.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with our design team, cross-functional team members within the organization, and with key stakeholders to create stunning visual experiences
- Solve UI and visual design challenges by fully understanding the requirements and follow intended UX solutions while providing recommendations where appropriate
- Produce powerful user interface design solutions across multiple digital platforms
- Create high-quality and pixel-perfect comps to communicate designs and iterate on the designs based on feedback from stakeholders and team members
- Translate design feedback from internal team members and/or clients into better design solutions
- Create and establish accessible design systems with well documented specifications for team members to leverage from
- Assist your fellow development team to build solutions based on defined design solutions
- Support project workflows from design concepts to production work with positive collaboration and attitude
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience with an outstanding portfolio of work, and thorough understanding of the entire creative process from strategy to execution to optimization
- You must have experience delivering design systems and visually impactful design solutions
- You must have strong understanding of design patterns and responsive design solutions
- A deep understanding of typography, colors, design layouts and principles, and best practices across digital platforms
- Excellent ability to manipulate and/or create graphic assets
- Excellent skills in styling
- Be able to multitask, deliver to short-term and long-term goals, fulfilling design requests, and remaining flexible in a fast-moving environment
- Proficient at sharing concepts, ideas and designs as well as provide feedback with professionalism, clarity, and pragmatism
- Ability to create responsive layouts and high quality presentation decks
- Excellent presentation skills with ability to articulate and sell the design solutions to obtain buy-in/approval quickly from stakeholders and clients
- Ability to receive feedback from team members, stakeholders and clients with open-mindedness
- Experience working with Figma, Sketch, Invision, and Zeplin
- Advanced in Adobe Creative Suite (especially in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
- Has experience in designing UI solutions/design systems for iOS and Android mobile apps, and web applications
- Extremely creative and detail-oriented
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience with Media and Entertainment industries is highly desired
- Experience working within an agency on multiple client projects concurrently is highly desired
- Experience in iconography design and connected TV app design is a plus
- Experience with and/or passion for VR/AR/XR and MR technologies
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and Jira
- Experience with inclusive design and digital accessibility implementations (such as WCAG compliance)
- Great verbal and written skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience
Portfolio must include UI and visual design samples from previous work.
