The role:
As a visual designer, you'll collaborate to create smart and creative solutions that help tell Airwallex’s story and educate customers about how they can run and grow their business with Airwallex. You'll create concept-inspired designs that can stretch across project types and channels: marketing campaigns, web, social, email, experiential, broadcast, and print.
Visual designers are an essential part of a creative team On a daily basis you'll also work with partners such as; Strategy, Product and Brand Marketing, Product Design, and Creative Leadership.
You will work on a team that originates new and substantive concepts across some of our most visible projects to raise awareness of Airwallex’s products and brand. Our team exists to tell the best possible stories of our brand, products, and ecosystem, so that our customers can empower their businesses to excel and grow.
What you’ll do:
Design digital and print communications for a brand platform where ideas can work globally and scale locally
Work with brand & marketing team members as well as content and product designers to translate business and marketing strategies into scalable creative campaign concepts
Develop beautiful, thoughtful, and engaging visual treatments and campaign identities for our global brand marketing projects
Have a collaborative and communicative design process, from concepting and moodboarding through visual execution
Work collaboratively on projects to create concepts, graphic elements/solutions, identities, and visual treatments
Work with agencies and contractors such as motion graphics functions to tell stories through animations
Contribute and communicate with a team that includes designers, producers, product strategists, copywriters and engineers
Provide constructive feedback to design and writing peers on the team
Create video and motion graphics style frames, exhibition graphics, print collateral, presentation designs, information graphics, branding and digital advertisements
Support the fast creative needs of an editorial, content, and social marketing team
Conduct independent creative research to inform design ideas
Ability to adhere to and build upon brand and campaign systems
Who you are:
You are collaborative - you work with designers and the wider brand and marketing team to design collateral that helps align with the business goals and represent the company brand.
You are multifaceted - in your experience, you have worked on a wide range of visuals for various brand projects, with continuous iterations.
You are self-motivated and self-sufficient - you are a fast learner, able to pick up new concepts quickly, and can work diligently alone as well as in a team. You can manage your time effectively and juggle multiple priorities at the same time.
You are a master communicator - who can provide information verbally and visually through your outputs
You are a team player - who enjoys working with various departments to execute your work
Skills and Experience You Will Bring
4+ years of industry experience
4 years design (or related) degree
A portfolio of design work across mediums
Expertise in typography, composition, color, layout, design thinking, and content strategy with the ability to define, build and differentiate brands
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and FigmaExperience with design in motion
Written and verbal communication skillsIterative design process
Understanding of today's creative landscape and trends within the design industry
An eye for cohesive visuals across fields like photography, illustration, and motion
