Founded as an independent game developer in 2016, Midwinter proudly joined Behaviour Interactive in 2022, and we are now working on our next unannounced title. Midwinter is looking for a Technical UI Designer to join our talented team.?We are a small team where the impact of your work will be felt in the games that we make.?
As a Technical UI Designer, you will be the linchpin of the game’s ability to communicate concepts with the player. You’ll act as the bridge between designers and programmers to implement interface elements in Unreal Engine 5. The UI will expose the fun, theme, and tone of our games while keeping accessibility at the forefront. Most importantly, you will collaborate and cooperate with a team of amazing developers in a safe and healthy game development environment.
In this role, you will :
- Collaborate with the Design team to implement crystal clear UI;
- Work closely with programmers to develop interfaces;
- Iterate on tools, art, and motion with programmers, designers, and artists;
- Implement polished and bug-free game interfaces in UMG;
- Maintain features and ship quality blueprint scripts;
- Maintain UI interface elements, widgets, dongles, pings, and more.
What we’re looking for :

- One or more shipped console games;

$80,000 - $110,000 a year
Base salary is only part of our total compensation, we also offer the following benefits to our permanent employees in the U.S.:
