⭐ Role Overview
We’re looking for a passionate System Thinker to build and manage our Design System in the UI Team. Working closely with the Product Designers, Content Designers and Software engineers, you’ll ensure a cohesive experience across our platforms.
You will help building a best-in-class Design System with Components, clear Guidelines and Processes to ensure consistency and scalability.
⭐ How will you make an impact?
- Help governing the Design System and supporting an iterative approach, building in feedback and improvements from the system users.
- Creating and updating Figma Library Components, Patterns and Guidelines documentation, ensuring those are flexible and accessible for all our products.
- Working with our Content Designer to build and maintain our Catalog Documentation (Source of truth).
- Being the Design System Product Owner, keeping track of our Changelog, prioritising developments and managing the backlog within our UI Team.
- Supporting Product Designers in the best usage of the Design System, handling component requests or potential bugs.
- Helping advocating for the Design System's adoption and usage within squads.
- Using Design Thinking methodologies to build and maintain a user centric Design System within our organisation.
- Contributing to planning a roadmap for the Design System, sharing priorities and evolutions with stakeholders.
⭐ What makes you a great fit?
- You have 5+ years of experience as UI Designer with specific focus on Design Systems at a tech company.
- Demonstrable strong UI design skills (portfolio).
- Organisational and planning skills.
- Processes involved in managing a repository for design components.
- Good understanding of how to use design tokens to make an scalable product.
- Strong understanding of web and mobile design principles.
- Basic knowledge of Front-End coding.
- Be passionate about Design Systems and System Thinking methodologies.
- Great communication skills in English.
- You are a collaborative learner and team player who strives for impact.
